History:
The Liebherr Group is a German manufacturer established in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, headquartered in Biberach an der Riss, Baden-Wuerttemberg. The Liebherr Group's holding company is Liebherr-International AG in Bulle, Switzerland, which is wholly owned by members of the Liebherr family. Currently the homestead is owned by Willi and Isolde Liebherr, son of the founder and jointly run the company. They are among the billionaires of 2005.
